Forward Foundation's support is amazing! Being a part of Forward Foundation has created a safety net for me and my family. The organization provides a plethora of community resources that I may not have had access to on my own. I am forever grateful for the wonderful ladies that I've met along the way. Forward Foundation bridges the gap for families in so many ways!

The onboarding process was so smooth. I inquired about the program during a very difficult chapter in my life. I submitted an inquiry and received a response in less than 24 hours. Soon after, we set a date to meet and I was welcomed to the foundation without hesitation. I feel supported and a part of an inclusive environment where we can share our experiences, seek advice, and build friendships without judgment. I am also being exposed to things that I never really considered... ie; Silent Auction (gala), bike race, financial guidance, estate planning, and even some of the other moms - we are a diverse group coming from differing backgrounds, educational achievements, age, culture.

I am so thankful that the Forward Foundation exists. Everything that they have added to my life can't fit into a short mission statement. They do what their mission says and more. The physical, emotional and financial support has been instrumental in my family's life and we are forever changed and grateful. We've been able to reach new milestones and goals that couldn't have been achieved without their help this year.

Forward Foundation continues to be an essential support system in my life. Even though I have "graduated" from the program, I continue to utilize all of the tools that were given to me throughout the program! Plus, I have a fantastic group of mom friends who are just a call or text away! Thanks Forward Foundation and all of those who support and give their time and expertise!

I liked the workshops that were centered on supporting our established goals and building confidence. For example, Junior League of Richmond led a workshop where we received tips on updating our LinkedIn account and ways to feel confident during an interview. I think the financial/budget workshops were helpful as well. This foundation is amazing! I was at a low, lonely place when I met you guys and I still think back with gratitude that I got a chance to be part of this community.

I will be forever grateful to the Forward Foundation for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dreams of becoming a nurse and being able to support myself and my children completely independently! The sense of being brought in to a family who loves us and is rooting for us has been life changing. Being a single parent can be incredibly stressful and lonely but the Forward Foundation has created a safety net and sense of community that has repeatedly saved me, and I'm so thankful to have them.

When I was first directed to the Forward Foundation, I frankly had little hope for help. I had been turned away from every place I looked because I made too much money. This was ridiculous. I was pinching pennies and skipping meals to keep lights on and daycare paid. When they embraced me, my children, my story, my sorrows, it was a tipping point for me. A ray of bright light in a sea of darkness. And now the good things I have to say about the Forward Foundation go well beyond that little ray of light. I have made friends, found a support system, found strength and been strength, I have healed and blossomed with their love and support. I am so grateful and so proud to be a part of this group.

I have been very blessed since joining Forward Foundation. They really do have some great programs that have helped me feel a little more secure and confident in myself and my abilities. Being a single mom of 2 teenagers and a disabled son, has had many challenges. I feel I have found a great support system through the wonderful people I have encountered so far. I am so grateful.
